Online Confirmation of Entry
If you receive a receipt from paypal confirming your payment, then we have received your entry. If not, please check your paypal account to ensure the payment went through. Contact us if you need help.
Competitors should collect their Numbers from the Show Office at Cavan. Opening hours: Friday 9 am to 6 pm, Saturday 6.30 am to 6 pm, Sunday 7 am to 6 pm
Amateur Classes Clarification
An Amateur Rider is a rider who for showing purposes HAS NOT engaged in the training programme for Rider/horses/ponies/livery/buying/selling or dealing of horses/ponies as a means of deriving a source of income since 1st August 2011. It is expected that exhibitors will enter into the true spirit of this competition.
Free Camping
A camping area has once again been made available. Please keep the area tidy by disposing of any litter in the bins provided.
Credit Cards Accepted
Credit and Debit Card payment facilities will be available at Cavan as well cash (sterling or euro). However we cannot accept cheques after the 31st March 2014.
The tenth anniversary catalogue will be available from Friday 25th April, priced just £5 / 6 euros
Remember to book early to secure your stables. They completely sold out last year. Book with Cavan Equestrian directly. Their contact details can be found here The show-grounds and stable office will open from 5 pm to 9 pm on Thursday 24th April and then throughout the weekend.
Show Office
The show office will be open: Friday 9 am to 6 pm, Saturday 6.30 am to 6 pm, Sunday 7 am to 6 pm.
The only classes you need to qualify for are the Festival Working Hunter Championships (classes 102 to 116)

Health and Safety
All competitors must wear their competitor number at all times when moving or exercising a horse / pony anywhere on the show-grounds.
The show is run under Ponies UK rules – you can view them here – Everything you need to know should be in this rulebook – if not contact us
Riding Hats to be approved to current BSI standard – A three point harnessed hat must be worn during the daytime classes – For the Evening Performance, Bowlers and Top Hats may be worn by riders who compete off the Leading Rein and are aged over 14 years.
