Most people will be aware of how the NIF Working Hunter finals operate, but for those who have qualified for the first time, here is a brief summary.

No positions or rosettes are handed out at the end of the class.

Once results have been counted and verified, the top ten from each final will be shown on the NIF TV screen outside the show office. They will not be listed in any particular order. These are the competitors who will be required for the evening performance where final placings will be decided. There is no jumping during the evening performance. Those who do not turn up for the evening performance will not be placed.

The horse / rider combination must remain the same in the evening as the final. Therefore competitors who have two rides in the same final can only take one into the evening.

If you win your individual class, you go into the relevant supreme working hunter final on the Sunday evening.
