Our Veteran Ridden Horses and Ponies Championship (Ch 32 – Saturday 2nd May) is a Golden Ticket qualifier for the Veteran Horse Society National Championships to be held at Arena UK, Lincolnshire from 4th – 6th September 2026. The Champion and Reserve will be issued with a Golden Ticket to the Supreme Final of their relevant age category. VHS Membership and class entry is to be made within 21 days of qualification.
Classes leading into this championship are as follows (all classes are under NIF rules):
Class 77: Ridden Veteran Horse (horse to have attained the age of 15 years on 1st January in the current year)
Class 78: Ridden Veteran Pony (pony to have attained the age of 15 years on 1st January in the current year – Ponies not to exceed 153cms)
Class 79: Ridden Veteran Horse (horse to have attained the age of 20 years on 1st January in the current year)
Class 80: Ridden Veteran Pony (pony to have attained the age of 20 years on 1st January in the current year – Ponies not to exceed 153cms)
CH 32: Veteran Ridden Championship to be held in the Evening Performance (classes 77, 78, 79, 80)
